Finally, time is up for a new single from arguably one of the most interesting artists in UK gospel music right now, Hannah Ola. The poised award-winning artist has a new masterpiece titled Issokay, a personal favorite for the simple reason that it makes your body move.
“I have sat on this track for a while, waiting for the right time to drop it. It’s the title track in my latest body of work (a banging six-track EP) produced by SMJ of the Tim Godfrey Rox Nation stable,” she explained.
“I wrote it after receiving unexpected bad news about someone else which was threatening to impact me. Crazy thoughts came flying until out of nowhere I started singing the chorus you hear today.”
“Issokay” can be described as “Afro-pop with a hint of classic African highlife music”. It`s a fresh sound that seems to be very popular with a certain age bracket, and you`d love it.
