Uber talented Gospel artiste Frank Edwards released the anticipated video for “Under the Canopy” over the weekend and the video shot to 11,000+ views in 3 days.
We can tell you this is as a result 2 major reasons.
First, “Under the Canopy” was a hit from the get-go. Peeps were literally waiting for a video to compliment the mega hit single and when it finally dropped, fans couldn’t wait to finally put an official mental picture to the single.
Also, Frank Edwards who worked with Jesus Filmworks for the video of the single did a great job interpreting the visuals. The tone and mood of the song fits perfectly into the visual interpretation which in one word can be described as ‘festive’. The mood of the song suggested a non-linear plot and a toggle with different settings for the video but Frank defiled the rule and went for a linear plot and a single setting, of course the director added spice with camera movement and angle.
Of the records, it will be difficult to have a substandard work by Frank Edwards so you can also add the fact that it is Frank Edwards to the reason why “Under the Canopy”, the video is a huge success!
